Curriculum

The three year curriculum is carefully and thoughtfully planned to maximize the educational and clinical experience. Our residents gain progressive responsibility and independence throughout this period. Professionalism and clinical competence are two aspects that are especially emphasized.

Rotations

Rotations are designed to provide a well rounded experience preparing our graduates to practice the full spectrum of family medicine. Residents are able to plan electives to support their educational needs and post graduation goals.

Educational Curriculum

We provide a variety of didactics programming and longitudinal experiences to support residents on their journey to become life long learners (e.g. board review, journal clubs, case presentations, procedural skills, simulation labs, osteopathic manipulative treatment practice, point of care ultrasound).

Continuity Clinic Experience

The clinic is the foundation where the vast majority of learning happens. The emphasis is on continuity of care in a relationship-centered interprofessional setting. Our clinics serve a rich, vibrant patient population spanning diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities and education levels.
